What is FootGolf?

The game of FootGolf is the perfect combination of two sports: Football & Golf.

The aim of the game, is to make your way around the course, by kicking a football from the tee boxes into the holes, in as few shots possible.
Sounds simple, right?

We can guarantee that if you have tried FootGolf on a social level, you will know it's slightly harder than it looks!

But did you know that while FootGolf is a great social sport, the game has developed a more competitive side that spans globally?

What is the FootGolf Association of Ireland?

The FootGolf Association of Ireland (FGAI) is the National Governing body of FootGolf in Ireland and recognised by the International Governing body, the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG).

The FIFG is responsible for organising a World Tour for the players and is assisted by Regional Bodies, such as the European FootGolf Association (EFGA) among other Regional Bodies in the Americas and Asia.

Each Region runs their own Regional Tour and likewise every country within that Region runs their own National Tour, which is generally used to select the best players to represent their country at International competitions, such as FootGolf World Cups, European Championships and one of our own creations, the 4 Nations FootGolf Tournament.
